Re: lowered trucks with airdams

I believe I'll be putting a air dam on my truck, but first I'll go to the junk yard first and get one and see how I like and if I do I'll buy me a new one

Mine is messed up, so I was thinking about making one out of carbon fiber.

Could easily go even lower on the front, but it scrapes as it is on the many many speedbumps here.

Re: lowered trucks with airdams

I have been thinking of getting a 5 1/2 inch for mine. It may be a little low but I can handle that rubbing with everything else.

Re: lowered trucks with airdams

The reason I got mine is because when you looked at the truck from the front you could see my old rusted arms and what not. To me it stuck out like a sore thumb. So I put in the airdam to 'hide it'

this is what I mean...

I think you'll be happy with the install. I was.....

Re: lowered trucks with airdams

I was thinking of the 5 1/2" from LMC. I am now really wanting it. That looks perfect on there. Part #38-704 on page 25 in their catalog.

Re: lowered trucks with airdams

Been so long, don't remember exactly. Front has drop spindles, rear has a flip kit & shackles. Fenders are rolled out. Front could go lower by cutting some more coils but the sway bar hits speedbumps as it is. Tires are 245s on the front and 275s on the rear.
