Sold the White '67
-
I was driving the '39 Ford Coupe last week and I stopped at the local convenience store to get a Coke. This guy comes over to me as I am getting into the car and asks me what it is worth. I told him 27.5. We get to talking and he asks if I have any other cars. I said yes and told him what I had. He asks if any of them are for sale I said all of them except for the '36 Ford Coupe. He ends up following me home and falls in love with the White '67 Shortie. Long story short he came back today and paid me for it.... I have owned it since 2004. '67 Short Fleet, 454/TH400, 3.07 open rear with lots of cruisin under her belt. Bye White truck.. LockDoc

Ohh noo...Firedog's wife will have a fit. She loves that truck. And that's all she talks about. Last week she brought it up again. Leon. that msy cost some serious wine to keep her quiet this year. She may have choice words I dunno.

Re: Sold the White '67
If you saw the trucks side by side you would know that that is not a good comparison. Here is part of the write up that I was going to put on craigslist. While this is a pretty nice pickup it is a driver, not a show truck. Everything works on the truck. It has a new paint job but it has some imperfections. This truck is a hoot to drive and I have taken a few 300 - 500 mile trips in it with no problems. Another important point is that mine sold... Oh, and another important point is that I had $4000 in it. LockDoc
