rear diff/axle removal help

Brake lines and u bolts have been taken off, but what else needs to come off in order for the axle to come loose? Theres a screw attached to the leaf springs but it doesnt want to unscrew when loosening. Theres no way to wrench the other end, correct, to keep it from spinning? Then should I put the frame under jack stands or leaf springs? any help would be nice!! Just got in from the garage and waiting for some help....please

Well, the "screw" you mentioned is a bolt that holds the leaf spring pack together. On the bottom side is a locating pin. Do not take it apart!!! Once you get everything loose, your axle will fall down. You need to disconnect the brake lines, e brake cables and drive line, also you need to disconnect your shocks. Remember to support the frame with jackstands and use a floorjack to lower the axle down once it is free. Hope this helps you, good luck.
