Which style of battery cable should a '70 use?

My '69 Camaro and '69 Pontiac 2+2 both use the spring style battery cable, but my '70 GMC, at least when I got it, used the through-bolt style.

I'm trying to figure out which style it -should- have. The truck was largely unmolested but in 40 years cables can be a service part, so I have no idea if they were original.

On the AUX battery side I also am unsure what the positive terminal should be like. I know there needs to be about a 3/8" bolt somewhere to connect to the AUX junction block, but it wouldn't have the big starter-style cable.

Anyone know, or have photos? Many thanks!

Dave
