Where to get new fuel tank diverter switch?
I have the dealer installed saddle tanks with the 3 way diverter tap that is installed on the driver side sill.
I have removed the in cab tank and am using just the saddle tanks now. When I was busy redoing the fuel system for the Vortec, I took the valve apart, cleaned and lubed it. It was doing OK for a while, but now it has begun to leak. Are these still available new, or do I need to find a new aftermarket type...... Any ideas?

if you don't need a "factory correct" one then go to a boatsupply place they're pretty common in the boat business

Thanks guys. Yeah my little plastic bezel just disintergrated when I took it off! I will try a boat supply shop.....should be a couple around in So Cal......
I've seen nice electric ones that also divert the return line, but they are almost $100 Never thought of the boat guys....

Hope this helps. I took mine apart, cleaned it, put it back together. Mine was leaking up the shaft. I remember using 1 or 2 rubber O-rings squished in there and that worked for many years until the truck was junked.

Just bought one myself not to long ago to replace the one on the 70 GMC. Got it at the local farm supply store(Fleet Supply or Big R). Its exactly the same as the one in the pictures except it doesnt come with the black face plate. Its the valve only. Cost on it was like $38.00 but the guy at the counter said that seemed awful pricey then offered it to me for $20.00. Counldnt refuse an offer like that.

Rare? I have one sitting on my bench from a camper special truck, what is the going board price for one of these? No thread-jack intended, I think it would be helpful to Tim240Z to know this also.
