One of my favorites, too.A great survivor. He shares my steel wheel fetish and that truck looked classy with every one of his sets he was sportin' on that thing.A subtle custom for sure.

That must be the current issue.
Those pics were taken at the Kansas Goodguys event, where Doug sold his truck.
It looks good in print!
Any regrets Doug?

Congrats on making the magazine!, Glad I got to see your truck in person (& meet you) great looking truck. I thought it was a keeper! I witnessed the keys getting handed over... kinda sad to me. I cant seem to let go of anything. The black 66 pictured on same page is owned by another good guy named Ron from Wichita. Not sure if he's a board member.

Re: Tcb-1 truck in classic trucks

well, I have to say I am proud of the ol' girl. it wasn't a prom queen, but it was solid, original, and taught me LOTS of lessons. it was the first real platform I experimented with after I moved on from motorcycle building.

I do miss it. after I left her, I never heard anything else. tried to email the buyer, but to no avail. oh well, I guess it's for the better.

if I never thanked the board members that helped me, please allow me to do so now....

n2billet Keith for some great horsetrading
lolife99 Keith for lots of pm, emails, and call concerning my first air ride build
72blckbty Nate for being Nate
and the rest of the 6772Chevytrucks.com "Midwest Crew".......you guys are the best

the Caddy is different. there is no good message boards to bounce my thoughts off of like this one. if I needed help with anything related to the truck, all I had to do was ask. guess Mick Jagger had is right, you don't know what you have 'til it's gone.

let's keep this a secret. I plan on an air ride install and a complete interior transformation on the Caddy. then, it too will be sold. then I will be back on here more 'cause a Suburban is in my future.

but you just have to loooooove those gorgeous fins.

maybe I can graft a set of fins onto a '57 'burb. hummmmm, thinkin' now.....

Man, if you're going to try that you have bigger boy parts than I do!!!.. She will make a nice cruiser that's for sure.

Congrats on the former truck coverage also.
