Check out this extenda cab
I sold this guy (Ed) a swb that I bought back from 12 years ago and part of the deal was a siezed BB (396) that now resides in "the Brick". Anways he also put a BB in his pickup and eventually sold it.
He built this truck with the help of his buddies and even though he could drive a new pickup this is his choice of transportation. He was in the area on holidays when he came over and I snapped these pics before my batteries died. He lives in Weyburn and I invited him to the board so hopefully he'll join. The main part of the pickup is from a suburban and the rest is from other pickups. He built this for his young family and now that ther're growing he plans on selling this one and building a crewcab.

Wow, you'd have a hard time convincing me that it wasn't factory. VERY nice.

That is one of the best home built extended cabs I've ever seen. Why is there an angle on the side rear windows?

I've seen quite a few chop-job extended cabs before, but as said above, this is one special truck. Could probably pawn it off as factory. Option E71?

This is rare example of what appears to be a well executed customization that will actually pay dividends in resale value. Look at the pickups sold today. A large majority are extended cabs. Bravo!

Damn, that is an awesome looking truck! That would be great for a family some day! :Lightbulb goes off in head: Longbed/fleetside to shortbed/stepside/extended cab. Wonder how that would look. Any expert photoshoppers out there that think they can mock up one of those?

Yep its a nice truck. The back of the cab looks very good. I have seen a few of these trucks like this and it seems they always end up looking off at the rear end of the cab but this one looks very well done. We really could use some pictures of the interior where this truck was put together if possible. The only thing different I would do would be to remove the rear door handle to give it a smoother look. Very nice truck.

pretty good idea using the front portion of a burb and the back of a truck cab to come together like that.

Only thing I would do is get rid of the angle on the rear side window and cut 6" off the back of the bed. But I love everything else about it including the 3rd door. Excellent ride.
