Re: cheap source for GM parts?

Have you check Brother's Trucks or LMC?

Brothers:
Grill: Item: GRL9102
Bezels: Item: HLB91C2
I think these might be the ones you are wanting.

If you know someone who works at a business that has a commercial account with the dealer in your town have them check for you. (ie body shop, delivery business, etc.)

Re: cheap source for GM parts?

What about your local junk yards ? I'd rather buy good used OEM over aftermarket....

Dude, The last time I checked a grille and bezels are made of plastic. Haven't seen plastic rust yet ? It was just a idea, I have no clue what's in your town/city....

Good Luck

correct you are dude, plastic dont rust....that doesnt change the fact that there arent any junkyards around here with anything older than mid 90's stuff, and no good 73-87 trucks at all to find parts from

Re: cheap source for GM parts?

Plastic may not rust, but it breaks damn easy and is hard to find in good shape!

As urban sprawl grows, junkyards in general decrease...at least around here.

Do some searching around about them before you reorder from them.

It took a little over a month to get my part from them. There is very little to no contact. If they or you mess the order up good luck getting it taken care of. I don't recall the name of the dealership but they had right about the same prices. Very good communication and knowledgeable staff. If I remember it or come across it again I will post it here.

Re: cheap source for GM parts?

I have purchased quite a bit from gmpartsdirect, no problems to date. Thier prices are definately cheaper, but you have to be careful on the shipping charges. I got 2 new NOS exterior door handles for under $100 for the pair...look at why they go for on ebay now, and dealers wanted quite a bit more as well. I also got some other lenses and misc trim.
