Re: Hi from nc

Welcome from Kansas!

The overhaul kit should work as long as you have a turbo 350 transmission and not a turbo 400.

The distributor will work.

Are you looking for good or cheap lowering parts?

Re: Hi from nc

Welcome from your neighbor state ,Va.

Iknow money is an issue for most of us here , but save up a little xtra ,if possible & at least get 2.5 in drop spindles for front & a 4 in hanger & shackle kit for the rear . You want be satisfied with just 2 in, especially in the rear . This is advice from mistake Imade > ended up lowering mine 3 different times before I WAS SATISFIED ( & that was expensive )Do your home work & do it the way you want the 1st time . Lots of pictures on this forum with different drops to look at . hope this helps .

Re: Hi from nc

Ditch the distributor. Your works fine. You can upgrade the coil and ignition module, save your money. Rebuilding a tranny is not easy. Buy your parts from www.bulkpart.com or TCI. b&m shift kits are trash too. Buy a TCI kit.
I bought my drop kit from http://www.sporttruckdirect.com/ They have the best prices on Western Chassis. Paint the parts or they will rust over time too.

Welcome to the site. Do you have any pictures of the truck?

Re: Hi from nc

Welcome to the board! gchemist has a point. Save your money on new parts, just upgrade what you have. What kind of suspension upgrades are you looking for?
