250 6 cyl. monojet choke setup- can somebody show me some pics?
Ive be running my truck with a spring holding the throttle plate- I have a manual choke cable but I dont have the linkage for the carb- can I get some pics to see what I need to find and/or make? thanks guys!!!

mine doesn't have any of the stuff on the front of yours- no choke pull-off and no choke thermostat or rod. but I have a brand new choke cable if I can figure out how to mount it and make it operate. thanks for the pic! I'm open to either way, I just want it to work!

aaahhhh they are over rated! hahahahhaah I still have to stay with mine for about 2 minutes before I can leave it to settle out on it's own. I recently rebuilt the carb but can't find the pics. If I do, I'll add some more pics.

There were several different choke configurations used through the early years of these carbs. Most of them didn't work right from day one. Often the carb or manifold has been changed & do not match. Often parts are missing off the carb. The best one to use is the electric choke model from the early 80's. It is self contained. Or a manual choke model is good. It is hard to convert to a cable control.

ok, sorry to make this thread so long... I'm sure this is really simple to lots of you, but this is my first chevy- up til I started building this 68, it was 20 straight years of VWs for me
