Door pins and bushings

Are they serviceable seperate from the hinges ? Or do I need new hinges? What about the door checks?
Thanks

Re: Door pins and bushings

You can replace bushings and pins with the hinges on the truck. Much easier. I heated the hinges a little with a propane torch and tapped out the pins with an air hammer. Supported the door with some jack stands.

Re: Door pins and bushings

Its just a bolt and a bushing. they all can be fixed. no offense but hinges are easy to fix. they make all kinds of bushings stock and oversized and pins to fit. or any shop can fab pins. give the size of your opening and we can fit the bushing for an off the shelf pin.

Re: Door pins and bushings

Auto zone and most parts stores have the pins n bushings. The friction door checks are a different story. No parts for those. A few have tried making something that worked. I have no idea if they were successful.
