tilt steering
my steering wheel is a little loose on 87 r10, its not a tilt, so i'm thinking of replacing with one. having a hard time finding one. i'm not sure what other years are compatible. and will i run into any issues with the swap? thanks...

Re: tilt steering
Late 83 up steering columns are what you will need because of the windshield washer-wiper and dimmer switch on the turn signal lever.

Re: tilt steering
your truck has the wipers on the column so that should work you may have to swap over cruise control its not that big of a ceal to fix y our old column it should tighten up ok

Re: tilt steering
what are the main things that usually cause the extra play in the steering. maybe i'll just tighten this one up for now.

Re: tilt steering
Yours can befixed, but I suggest a tilt column. The comfort added by a tilt wheel is very much worth the trouble.

Re: tilt steering
not sure what i'm gonna do, steering is a little loose, but ican deal with that. thought a tilt wheel would be the way to go because i put a grant steering wheel on and now i kinda blocks the speedo.
