Post Who wants a SWB project with and LT1/4L60E???

**** NEW PRICE!!!!! **** $4,500 -- with $500 being donated to James(aka BOSS) for medical bills.

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...39#post1698639

I have been gathering a lot of parts so I could build a SWB. However, I really don't have the time to build it and I may be moving, so I definitely don’t want to move it. I know I could probably make more money parting all this out, BUT, I would rather make someone who has time to put this all together a package deal. There are a lot of nice parts and almost everything is there to build a really cool truck. I've attached some pictures and will add more this weekend. If you want to see anything specific, let me know.

Here's a list of the "big stuff” but I have a lot of smaller stuff in boxes:

Parts list:
72 A/C cab with new rockers and cab corners (excellent uncut dash)
2 nice doors (1 needs a small patch but I have a complete replacement bottom door panel)
5 fenders (2 in good shape, the other 3 have pinholes in bottom)
1 hood
2 inner fenders
1 rust free core support
1 original core support (rusted at bottom)
2 radiators
17" electric fan
Complete rubber (front/rear window, door seals, door felt/window chanel....)
Oak wood bed kit (varnished on both sides ready to install)
Stainless Steel strips
Stainless Steel bed bolt kit
2 new wheel tubs
Bed braces
Orginal tailgate
(no bed sides/end gate)
4 rally wheels (2 15 X 8, 2 15 X 6) with new tires (4 more for spares)
69/70 Grill – inner/outer with lights, nice driver
71/72 grill - inner/ outer - decent driver
72 bumper with lights - driver condition
Standard automatic column
Tilt column (new handles/indicator/bearings/wiring needs to be assembled)
bench seat
2 72 door panels
2 metal door panels
2 cowl panels

1972 SWB chassis (5-lug) with rebuilt front and rear suspensions (painted gloss black)
new 2 ½ dropped spindles
4/6 dropped springs
New disc brakes
New rotors
New calipers
New brake lines
New tie rod ends
New ball joints and bushings
Power steering box
Non-posi rearend with new brakes/drums/wheel cylinders

1996 Caprice Classic Police Special (9C1):
Complete running car with
LT-1 (350)/4L60E
Disc brake rear end (5X5)
front and rear sway bars
A/C
Radiator with a/c condensor
Dual Electric Fans
Engine oil cooler
Fuel tank with fuel pump
NO TITLE

MISC:
3 wiper motors
6 door glasses and with hardware
multiple sets of window cranks
Automatic transmission crossmember
V8 motor stands
2 glove box doors
Multiple boxes of emblems and smaller parts (marker lights/tail ligts…..)
Sliding back glass

$4750 o.b.o.

"69/70 LMC replacement Grill - inner and outer (3 or 4 years old)
69/70 Grill – inner/outer with lights, nice driver"

If you do end up parting it out I would be interested in one of the grills.
Good luck with the sale. Looks like a good deal to me.

If you decide to break it up, I would be interested in finding out more about the caprice.

I'd take the whole package, but i don't have room to keep one truck in pieces, much less two.

Thanks, best of luck with the package deal. It is a really good buy, just need to find the right person.

I'll store it for you for a while. LOL. I hate to break it up. I know some young "buck" out there that has the time could make a *****in truck out of it.

Honestly Rob, I'll see what I can do. My dad is going to be in town for most of May, so I'll see if he wants to take a long weekend with a U-haul and go get some parts. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the pics.

Who wants it? Of course I do..............but and it's a big one. Until I get at least one truck on the road, I promised myself no more. I have 5 torn apart in the shop, with all the parts to put them back together laying every where.

Funny you posted QS! I was just thinking this might be right up your alley. 5 or 6, whose counting? And compared to some of your trips, this would be a Sunday afternoon drive, LOL!

I can't fit anything else in the shop, or under the sheds, in the barns and 16 parts trucks in the field. I will check back with you a week from Monday. If i can get 2 cabs on chassis, one bed back on a frame, and mount some sheet metal..........should be able to get that done in 8 days, then..........
