Welcome to the board! I've seen them mounted under the seats but don't know what is involved. You can try using the search button, I'm sure you'll find plenty of ideas and info here.

Re: 2 kenwwod 12's shallow mount

With 12's you may want to consider moving the gas tank out of the cab, that would clear up some room for you, then you could mount the amp(s) under the seat(s).

Re: 2 kenwwod 12's shallow mount

I don't think you'll get anything bigger than a 10 under the seats. I've got a little RE8 8" thats going under mine with a little alpine mono amp and a second amp for the fronts.

Re: 2 kenwwod 12's shallow mount

I don't want to steer you wrong Bama so I am pointing you in the direction of Texasbigblock, he recently posted a thread where he installed a gas tank back near the rear bumper, turned out looking great and had a flip down license plate for tank access. Also, Cameeks posted some info in the same thread that might be helpful. Hope this helps.

Re: 2 kenwwod 12's shallow mount

This is whats going in mine plus the four channel.

This is a picture from another board members truck, those are two 8's iirc so 12'2s are going to be very tight. I'm going with the same size box only one sub but two amps.

Re: 2 kenwwod 12's shallow mount

Do you know how much port volume the speakers need? If not, I'm sure you can google your speaker part#'s and find out. That's kind of important to get the right sound. I think the shallow mounts don't require much so you may be OK.

Re: 2 kenwwod 12's shallow mount

Remove the tank out of the cab install a Blaser tank behind the axle. Very easy and not that expensive. Then put the speaker box behind the seat and the amps under the seat. Here is what I did 3-tens sealed box sounds awesome!!!!!!!!! Something about having a gas tank inside the cab that bothers me JMO.

Re: 2 kenwwod 12's shallow mount

I put one long box and divided it in the middle.I removed the cable to adjust the seat so it would fit. Also if you take out the jack 2 subs fit in there nicely
