HELP, please... 67-68 grille loops

How does the clips go on the trim. I'm trying to put it on before I put the grille back on the truck. I don't know how the little wire part of the clip goes onto the trim.

Are your clips already mounted to the grille? If so, that's the hard way to do it.

I put each end of the wire into the trim. One end goes in real easy. The other end you pull into the trim, it acts like a spring holding the clip in there. Then I bolted the trim up to the grille.

I think there is a good picture of it in the factory assembly manual....do you have one??

Thanks again for the heads up on the book. I forgot I bought one, maybe it'll come in handy on the build. HAHA. Time to assemble my truck so perfect timing.

Finally done. Wasn't easy my hands hurt and are cut up. It looks pretty good, but not something I want to do again anytime soon.
