Carpet option in 1960
Before I started the restoration of my 60 C10, I had installed a complete sound deadening and insulation kit and put new carpet in. It was amazingly quiet!!
Now that I am doing a stock restoration, I was wondering, was carpet an option in 1960 or was the rubber mat the only flooring available?

Re: Carpet option in 1960
Pretty certain the floor mat was the only floor covering in 60.

Re: Carpet option in 1960
I’m pretty sure if carpet was wanted by the customer, the dealer would make that happen.
I do agree with Jocko though, rubber mat was the only factory floor covering offered.
