Re: 67 chevrolet truck owners !!
I'm getting ready to swap a 1972 disc brake front end into my 67. I plan to upgrade to PS at the same time. When I do, I will space the steering box out from the frame with washers.
I've heard of others doing it, but this will be my first experience with it. I think one of our members, Frank at Frank's PickMUps did this before.

Re: 67 chevrolet truck owners !!
Mine is done with some solid spacers vs washers...a little cleaner look, but same effect.

Re: 67 chevrolet truck owners !!
I have a 67 c10 that by the SPID or the Po's fenderwell fab should not have power steering. This box does not have washers what's up???

Re: 67 chevrolet truck owners !!
I have heard of people heating the frame and molding it to where the washers are not required. Also saw somewhere where a guy just put a hole in the frame so it clear. I didn't do that on mine I just used washers, I don't know about everyone else but mine needs the steering recentered from the washers moving the box out.

Re: 67 chevrolet truck owners !!
They were on the truck when I purchased it. I'm guessing they are a little less than 1/4"...haven't measured them. Here is a pic:
