motor mounts
Is it worth the $80 to buy poly mounts or better to go with rubber mounts for under $20. What's your experience or opinion?

I use the factory style rubber motor mounts....they'll be fine for anything but the 40eleven million pound torque monsters. My only experience with poly was in a front and rear suspension on a 62 Impala. Harsh is a gentle description of what Poly did to the ride. Can't imagine what poly motormounts would do for the car, prolly make ya feel like popcorn kernals in an air popper.

The poly mounts will transfer more engine noise and vibration.....at least the ones I have used.

I went with rubber mounts and am glad I did, cheaper and the quality was decent (bought from napa).
