Thumbs up Some progress..It drives again.

Spent yesterday swaping out steering columns, adding my new wheel (no horn yet...I assume me and Mr grant are seeing eye-to-eye), and mounted the hurst shifter on the floor. Touched up a few rusty areas and replaced an outside door handle.

It might still be on the low end of the cool scale, but I am happy tobe mobile again. Just in time for our big Crusin the Coast festival. Today was the first day and lots of cars are showing up. I'll have a bunch of photos I hope by next weekend of the event.

Oh yeah...I took Longhornmail's advice...Notice the mandatory cool gas pedal Andy. Who needs paint with that??

Thanks for all who helped me with parts and getting my steering fixed up. You folks are great!!

That's the spittin' image of my '69 when I bought it (except for all the crap the guy had hanging off of it-- headache rack, second spare, jumbo bumpers, every model fog light ever made, and so on...).

Looks great!
