Thoughts on reproduction bed floor patch panels?

Anybody do a patch and have pics or input on how the ribs line up with original?

Re: Thoughts on reproduction bed floor patch panels?

I bought one to repair the bed of my truck and it's nowhere near the pattern or thickness of the original bed metal. I purchased it from GMC Paul's and it was manufactured by "tristar".

I had to find a donor bed to repair the floor in my Jimmy.

Agreed 100%. I too used the TriPlus. I figured it would be thinner than the original, but wasn't counting on the pattern being so far off. But if you need to put a patch panel in the bed of your 80's S-10, the 67-72 bed patch panel is a good fit.

I believe an entire SWB bed floor is now available, it may be thinner as
you both stated, but it would all be in one piece and ribs would line up.

I know Tim does www.christiansclassics.com and I believe other Vendors
from here can get it also. I believe it's a Goodmark product, never seen it

*It's NOT listed on website, still being upgraded, but call him toll free
