Whatcha need?

Name some parts you need. I am going to a yard in the next week or so with 7-9 trucks, 1 burb. I have limited room to carry big parts. Please only name smaller parts, I will bring back 1-3 large body parts. I will bring back a tailgate, it is very straight.

I am looking for a dipstick/tube for a 402 big block, and also the PCV elbow and hose that attach to the air cleaner spacer. Thanks!

Re: Whatcha need?

Tailgate - 200$ + S+H
Power steering - 20$ + S+H
Water pump - 8$ + S+H
A/C Brackets - FREE (I'll put it in with the pump, if the yard has it)
Dipstick -FREE + S+H (May not be able to get one, any other engine have the same dipstick?)

Picture of, short water pump, A/C brackets, PCV elbow and hose please.

Will setup a PayPal account tomorrow for payments. Will tell you when I have the parts and when they will be shipped. I'll PM you when I have the parts.

Re: Whatcha need?

I do not have a pic. The PCV elbow is just that...90 degrees elbow that sits in the passenger side valve cover with a short rubber hose attached to the air cleaner spacer. The dipstick/tube are different for big block and small block

Re: Whatcha need?

If you could find some short water pump A/C brackets for a big block, that would be great too!

Re: Whatcha need?

`69 was first year for truck tilt.It wouldn`t have been any different if `67s had them, though.

Re: Whatcha need?

Vent window - 5$ + S+H
Tilt Column - 100$ + S+H (If there is one there)

I will be going to get the parts in the next week.

You guys have just filled up my car, so thats it, I'll start another one of these threads next time I go.

The yard is in Cokesbury, not a town, a road. No one lives up here in the boonies so you will never find it.

P.S. I know the stuff is very cheap, I think if I'n going to sell something to fill my pocket, I shouldn't empty someone else's.

Re: Whatcha need?

If that Burb has/had barn doors I could really use the upper and lower barn door strikes,..if they're still there. Let me know. They're small so you could squeeze em into this load,..... or your pocket.

Re: Whatcha need?

How do you price parts from a junkyard when you don't even know what you will pay for them?

look at his profile... he's 15 and own 2 VW rabbits???

thirdstreettito this isn't the way the most guys do business on here... you really need to have the parts, know the condition and advertise them for sale. pics of the actual items will help as well. just my opinion, im not in charge of this place...

Re: Whatcha need?

Does that mean the owner of the trucks is letting you have the parts? OR You are just taking the parts?
These are questions you really need to answer before anyone here will ever buy from you.

Re: Whatcha need?

bradley, please do not take money or price out items you do not have. Its super nice of you to make a list and get folks stuff but you can not list things for sale that you do not have.

I know you are trying to help out and do good. The whole not selling things you don't have in your possession is a way bad idea though. Do not accept money for anything until you have it, otherwise its kinda pretty much fraud.

Guys please remember we were all teenagers once. And even though Bradley has brought most of the replies he gets upon himself.. he is trying to learn somewhat, and tries to be helpful as well. He is a teenager who is interested in our hobby. Isn't that what its all about?

Re: Whatcha need?

I am in need of the chromed plastic headliner trim for a Cheyenne if you happen to come across it. I actually only need the pass side rear piece, but if you can manage to get the whole thing out without breaking it, i will take it. Take it easy with it, the plastic is brittle. There are little plastic clips molded onto the trim that snap into the steel cab.
