Speaker Bracket

I have the original AM radio which is fine for me, but looks like I'm missing a piece of the speaker Bracket and the speaker itself. I'm finding out that I can't buy the Bracket new from anywhere. Is this true? Do you guys have any ideas on where to find the Bracket or maybe I can put in a new speaker that is braced another way. I'm not hung up in keeping the speaker original, just want something that lets me listen to the radio (if the radio works... fingers crossed)

Re: Speaker Bracket

I would start looking at trucks in the auto recylers yards I bet that would be the quickest way

Re: Speaker Bracket

https://issuu.com/truckandcarshop/docs/ts_60-72_web they have aftermarket stereo speakers that will bolt to the mount you have, on page 55, I bought them and they sound good ,call them and get a free catalog, they are great to deal with

Re: Speaker Bracket

The only thing you are missing is the speaker , crazy they only had one bolt holding them in , I usaly put a couple in the kick panel vents also , eliminates the vent though

This is exactly the piece Ive been looking for! I bought the part that connects on the bottom of the speaker from specialtyretail. I think this mounting brace will get me taken care of. Thank you very much!!
