Basement tailgate collection.

OK, some of the newer guys wont remember this but I'm hoping some of the members who've been around a while will. Wasn't there a member who had a collection of take off tailgates hanging in their basement as well as a full A/C dash with a tach cluster? I remember seeing the pics but I don't remember who it was. I really don't need to know for any particular reason aside from just wanting to see the pics again. Maybe I'm just trying to assure myself I'm not the only person who collects odd things. Anyway, I've searched three ways til Sunday and still haven't found any info, so if you can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance fellas!

You`re not talking about JoesJunk`s garage wall art are you?I thought it was a club basement when I first saw his display.

I believe he is trying to complete the color spectrum. I saw it in person awhile back and it was awesome... I am sure it is better now.

That's just cool! Any more pics? How are the gates attached to the wall? I've got a couple I'm thinking about hanging.

Re: Basement tailgate collection.

I wish I had a basement to hang stuff on. No wonder we can't buy a good factory tailgate nomore. Longhorn Man has them all in his basement.

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Basement tailgate collection.

LOL..That is my gate collection. I have no idea why I started collecting take off gates, but I did. It sure is a conversation starter! I also like NOS hub caps and any other NOS items I can find. I also have 4 NOS gates in the box. I just bought another gate from Randy today!!

I see the wall brackets at the bottom of the gates but what do you have holding them up at the top? Did I mention how sweet that is?

Re: Basement tailgate collection.

Thay actually lean out some, makes them easier to look at and put on the wall. I can just push the top in and unhook the chain from the gate and they come right off the wall!!
