air bags under a 67-72 burb?

Anybody have pics of a 67-72 burb w/bags under it?

Here's one of my burb, bagged w/ 2600 bags. Done 1.5" crossmember drop, front bags just running upper plates, and built new trans and swing bearing crossmembers. Lays the pinchweld within 1/2 inch when bags deflate.

Hey gheto, any idea where I can get patch panels for mine, for the most part the entire bottom 4 inches is rusted from the front of the driver door back...

I got my rear quarter patch panels from GMCPauls, and they fit great and are thicker than original. They also have rocker panels, but on the patches in front of the rear wheelwells I think you can use long wheelbase patches and modify them. What are your plans for the ole burb, I love these old trucks and am glad they are gettin so popular. So you can use quarter patch panels from a lwb truck for both in front of and behind the rear wheel? I plan to get it going first off, its sat for 8 years so its gonna need a little work, I'm gonna put an HEI set up in it couresy of Russell, new plugs, different carb, etc. It'll most likely leak oil like no other so I'll put all new gaskets in it, and then the other stuff you'd expect to have to do on a truck thats sat for this long.

I want to eventually slam it like yours and put a decent bag set up under it and some nice wheels but that'll definitely come later. I'm gonna fix up the body first, and I'm sure that'll be fun. Can you guys imagine the looks I might get when I roll up in the high school parking lot next fall?!

BTW, where do you put the compressor and tanks? Just in the back or what?

Can you give me some details on your setup, any mods you had to do and about how much it cost? I think I'd have to do it the same way you did, front first, back later. BTW, Don't you have to do major frame mods like a c-notch to bag the back? What other suspension mods do you have? Real nice burb man.

using connitech 2600 bags 1/2" ports, custom bag brackets. I think i have about $300 into the front bag setup right now. I still need to complete the air management system and the rear bags. I also have 2 1/2" drop spindles as well as a completely rebuilt front end (done during the 1/2 ton swap). yes, to lay frame you need to noch the chassis into the floor of the suburban.
