Re: New Blazer pic's..
Sweet Blazer. How'd you smooth the cap like that? did you peel off the stock skin/handle and replace it with aluminum or stainless?
My luck I'd forget it at the gas station again. I've lost two of them there in the last year.

Re: New Blazer pic's..
I went and got a new cap from the Auto place then put some spot welds on the back side then took the plastic handle off and welded it up on the front side, then took the grinder to it. It will be painted black like the blazer. That was a pic that I took right after I made it.
Thanks for the input.. I see you on here helping out everyone, you beat me to allot of the tech threads good job on that. later, Trav

Re: New Blazer pic's..
Thanks! I try to help!
Here's the other option I was thinking of for my cap to prevent my stupidity in leaving caps at gas stations. http://www.iboats.com/SeaDog_Stainle...view_id.237367 It might take a little trimming on the tube, but it would be nice and smooth.

Thanks man, I am a project manager for a Labeling company based in Knoxville TN. I have been working on and off for 15 years on this blazer. So I have a lot of time and $ in it. Re: New Blazer pic's..
Got the new roll pan on tonight, I had to make some cuts to the frame to make it fit. I will send it off to the paint shop this weekend.

Re: New Blazer pic's..
I Spot welded the air bag brackets on the back today and found a new place for the air pump. I hope to have everything welded up on Monday. With the air out on the bags it will sit on the frame and tuck about 4" of tire.
