Need your opinion on wheels

I want to run 20" Centerline Smoothie wheels but the only option in a 6 lug is a 8.5" width with a 5.4 back spacing. My truck is a 68 GMC with a stock 10 bolt rear end. I currently have just a rolling chassis and not sure what wheel fits and looks good. What do you guys think? Can I just get spacers? What back spacing works?

Tell us more about your truck. Bagged, lowered at all (?) Fleetside or stepside? Do you know the length of your rear end housing?

It's a fleet side short bed with a 4.5/6.5 static drop. I'm not sure of the length but I can measure it later.

Re: Need your opinion on wheels

Prob has the more narrow rear housing in it.

Fronts would be fine. 255/40/20

The back would look a bit narrow unless you ran spacers. Most run a 20x10 with 5in backspacing on the early housing. Being 6.5" in the back you could get by with. 5" more backspacing but IMO the 8.5" wheel would kinda get swallowed up under the fleet bed. 'Tucked under too far'

Ok so the front back spacing would be just fine? Do you think if I put spacers in the rear it would look odd?
