GM A body or G Body bench seats

I searched many threads but could not find any info on using a GM A body or G Body bench seat in a 60 to 66 truck.

What does it take to put a split bench from the mid 60,s to the mid 70's into our trucks?

Any pictures?

Take the tracks off the seats (too low), bolt on taller truck tracks. I would think a B or D body bench would be a better choice (wider). B/D: Caprice/Impala/Fleetwood/etc full size RWD.

Re: GM A body or G Body bench seats

Does anyone know of a link to 1960-1970s seat dimensions?

The Cadillac seats look huge & don't look to fold. I want access to the rear cab for storage. My gas tank is in the rear.

I'll check the B Body styles to see what might work.

I have 50/50 divided buckets from a G-body in my 1969 GMC and there is almost 10 inches in between them. Granted they are not mounted.

Coupe seats fold, four door seats don't. B and D coupes continued to 1985.
