Re: stereo help
I'm planning on putting a RE8 8" sub under the seat in a small box with an alpine mono amp and then a seperate amp for the fronts with some decent components.

Re: stereo help
Nice interior. I can't help you with your stereo system. But I do have a question. What year is your seat. I have one like it in my truck. I think most of these trucks don't have head rest. But yours and mine do. Thanks.

Re: stereo help
In my 70 longbed GMC I had a set of 4 1/2" separates installed in the door panels, not the kick panels. I had a kicker 4x50 bridged 2x50 1x100. The amp was mounted to the floor under the middle of the seat. I put a 10" low profile box underneath the passenger side of the seat. I used an infinite baffle design if you will meaning I left the back of the "box" open just sitting on the floor. Sounded great. If memory serves, the sub was a Kicker Comp Free Air 10 and the separates were Kicker as well.

Re: stereo help
an 8" or 10" sub would work great mounted to tranny hump my friend had a shallow box on his 95 chevy and it fit perfect and still sounded good
