12 bolt got wet

I just had the seals and bearings go out on my 12 bolt and found a bit of rust inside the tubes and also the bearing cage was rusted out ( hard to believe ). Gears seem to be ok but the axle seals and bearings are toast. Without seeing it is this diff worth saving or should I be looking for a new (used) one.
