I'm Back Baby!

As most of you guys know, sometimes life tends to get in the way and causes you to stop a project, move to something else, ETC. I have been super busy coaching my son's baseball, and all his hockey stuff and have been having an absolute blast! Now things are tending to slow down a bit and I am back to looking for another truck. I would love to have a decent driver or maybe a half built project truck of sorts. Definitely looking for a 47 through 54 and would prefer a five window but three will work just as well. If you guys could please keep an eye out for me and let me know if you come across anything! Thanks again for all your help and I look forward to being back on here more often following more guys builds!

Re: I'm Back Baby!

I've always been of the notion that family comes first and the project happens when it happens. Main reason I gave up racing as I saw too many kids being neglected because the race car took all the time and money and a few of those kids pretty much lived on beans and weanies during the week with hot dog or hamburger (if the car won that night) at the race track on race night.
You son will always remember that you were there supporting him at his sports events and there for him. I've known too many kids who never had their folks or even grandparents in the stands because the family was too busy with their own lives to take the time to go watch the ball games or sporting events. On the other hand I have seen too many parents that thought that their kids success on the field or ball court counted big on their personal status in the community including the choice seat at the Saturday morning coffee gathering and pushed the kids too hard.

My ongoing truck projects:
48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
