Factory sway bar.
I am converting a 69 Short step into a 67 short fleet. I got a lot of work done Sunday and discovered a factory sway bar. My question regards the brackets. The front brackets appear to be damaged from curbs or what ever. Can they be fixed? If not, where can I get new ones? I have only received one catalog that I have ordered and they don't show to have the part available (LMC).

Early Classic has them. If you're going to be lowering your truck, they also have the bracket for lowered trucks that tucks the sway bar up a little closer to the frame.

Also, If your converting your stepside into a fleetside, what are you going to do with your step bed? I may be interested in it, if you're getting rid of it and it is in decent condition.
