86' Dually - tire rotation between front and back?

Our 86' Dually, the front right has bad outside edge wear, not down to the cords, but nearly smooth. Rest of tire is good, as are all the other tires.

Can the front tires rotate with the rear? Are all the rims the same just with the rear the outer tire is flipped inside-out?

Lastly if so, what is the rotation pattern?

Going to take it in for an alignment at some point - not sure what would do that kind of wear this quick and not also affect the left tire.

Re: 86' Dually - tire rotation between front and back?

Thanks. I did see that later when googling.

Suppose I'll give it a try this weekend and see if all the rims are the same.

I just reread your thread, Yes all Dually wheels on the same truck SHOULD be the same.

Did the rotation today. Ended up being no big deal.
