NEED 8 lug wheels that will accept pur dog dish hub caps

I need a Set of 16" original 8 lug wheels to help make the Longhorn a little bit more factory. I've got a line on the caps, now I just need the correst wheels. If they need blsted that's fine, I was going to do that whe we painted the rest of the truck down the road.
Thanks,
Nik

Re: NEED 8 lug wheels that will accept pur dog dish hub caps

Nik - I've got a set of 16.5 x 6.75 from a 3/4t 72 Suburban and a set of 16 x 7. I won't be using both and may part with the 16.5's as I'd rather have a set of the 16.5 x 8.25 wheels that my K20 originally had (I would consider trading my 16.5 x 9.75's for 8.25's...anyone...anyone?). Let me know what time frame your under to acquire a set. Pete

I could hook you up with the 16" wheels you want, but shipping would be really high. You're better off finding them close to you.

Everything around me is 16.5 or does not work with the centercap.Special K, if you get bored, find out what it would be to ship it, I'm just about at my wits end looking for stockers around here.
Thanks.

Re: NEED 8 lug wheels that will accept pur dog dish hub caps

Honestly,I wasn't offering them so much as stating I can't believe these can't be found. I have a set,but at the moment one is in service (other 3 are earlier Ford) on my '72 until I do suspension work and mount the 8.25 x 16.5 set. I'm sure I can locate a set,but not sure when. I'm hoping you'll stumble on some soon.

The 16x7's with the outward cap nubs were abundant at U-Pull It last time I visited but that's up here in ABQ....

Re: NEED 8 lug wheels that will accept pur dog dish hub caps

Found a set on an '84 C20 that worked perfect on my truck, 16x6.5. I think any C20 from 73 ~ 87 will work.

Just so you know, the GM 16" wheels are 6.5" wide. The 16.5s are 7".
