WTB: Ram Horn Xhaust manifold - Seattle

I can't believe it! I've been looking for a week around local yards, on Craigslist, and calling on buddies. Haven't come up with one yet. Need a 2" center dump straight down. Goes on my '72 K5. Hope to find one close I can just come and get.

Pickmup, could you shoot me a PM on a price for a new set of 2", I have bought 3 sets of center dumps and am not real happy with them. Seems like the mounting holes to the heads get elongated. J.

I was about to post up looking for the same thing. Passenger side on my K5 cracked when I installed my LMC exhaust. Mind PMing me some prices too?

Thumbs up Re: WTB: Ram Horn Xhaust manifold - Seattle

those things are starting to become extinct arount here too. everytime i find one or a pair i grab them if the price is right. they are famous for cracking or swelling up and blowing out. even harder to find are the vette version with the 2 1/2 inch outlet, i ended up buying a new pair from the dealer since i had one and could never find a mate for it. i try to keep a stockpile of extras in the 2 inch version since both my 72s have them for now. when/if i ever restore them, i'll use the 2 1/2s.

Got one. Had to drive an hour but only paid $20 for a nice one. Jerry - 2 1/2's would be cool. I'll do that too if I ever need new exhaust or restore.

Re: WTB: Ram Horn Xhaust manifold - Seattle

I have a set of the Corvette 2-1/2" manifolds that I won't be using anymore. I had them on my truck last year with no problems... Excellent shape, even had the mating surface machined before I installed them to eliminate any problems with leaks. What kind of money would someone be willing to pay for them???

The GM vette 2.5" rams are gone! There were four different part #s that worked straight down and were very reasonable priced...and GM discontinued all of them last year...I don't know where they all went, but there was no warning. I can't get them any more.

Re: WTB: Ram Horn Xhaust manifold - Seattle

stomper... PM'd you back.

Here are some pictures of the manifolds. IMO, they are in excellent shape. The only "issue" is the finish. I tried to apply some high heat paint last spring before I installed them but it didn't stick. You will probably want to take a wire wheel to them to clean the paint off. I tested a wheel on them and most of the paint literally flies right off.

I've got a pair. I think they are a pair anyway...
The left side one has the mount for the alternator also.
Don't have any idea what they're worth.
