alternator/power steering bracket

my 91 has a large cast aluminum bracket, which broke today so my alternator fell off. My 88 parts truck has real steel brackets like God intended trucks to have, plus the alternator is on the other side. Anyone know what years took this cast bracket? Need to hunt one down tomorrow, would like a little knowledge first. Thanks

Re: alternator/power steering bracket

found one off a 88-92 ish wrecked c1500 with a 4.3 liter, matched up the same and had the same part number. Best part was, somebody had already removed it to scavenge the other accessories, and left it laying right there for me. Asked the salvage yard guy how much for it, and he says don't worry about it! Score!

Love it when they say that, doesn't happen often enough.
