Backspacing ridler wheels. What fits

I would like to run a set of ridler 695 wheels in 22x9 fronts and 22x10.5 rear. Both sizes have a +0mm offset. I'm pretty sure the rear will work without a problem, just not sure about the front. I have been searching for 2 days and still can't find a good answer.

The truck is a 85 shortbed fleetside, 4/7 drop approximately. I was thinking if they don't fit right I can get some narrowed arms from MMW and bag the front like I've been thinking about anyway.

That's a 5 BS. That "should" work just fine. I'm running a 4.5 and I was told 4.5-5.5 was ideal.

What width are your wheels?

22x9 w/0 offset = 5"bs
22x10.5 w/0 offset = 5.75"bs

Technically they would fit. IMO, they would not be optimum.

Fronts would fit but will likely buzz. The common size would be 8.5's w/5.25"bs so those are .5" farther out (& that much closer to rubbing).

Rears will likely buzz on the inner tub. A 10" wheel w/5"bs would be centered. You can squeeze a 5.5"bs wheel in there but it very close to the tub & will buzz it when compressed on angles so the extra .25" is again that much closer to rubbing.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Backspacing ridler wheels. What fits

Thanks Scoti I that's about how I was thinking it would fit. I see a few people running those wheels in a 20 but no 22s that I could find. I'm less worried about the rear, I could run a small spacer if needed or widen the wheel tubs since my beds inside is unfinished.

The 20 is 8.5 wide with 0 offset so 4.75 backspacing. So Id be 1/4" further away from the fender. No sure if that would help much.
