plastic headliner

I purchased what I thought was a vinyl headliner but turned out to be a plastic piece from LMC. Should I buy some insulation to install first to roof and then install the headliner? What have you guys done before using this? also, will the 3m spray adhesive work on this?

Thanks

Re: plastic headliner

3m 90 in the green can will hold up to the heat. You can pick it up at lowes. IMO the 77 is not strong enough in the hot summer sun
