Is this the correct alternator?
My alternator has quit on my 72 K10 does anybody know what the correct alternator number is and how do the date code to read on these

What is the rest of the numbers 7a11 is 1967 or 1977 a is January and 11 day

Found a site with all the numbers. 1972 is a 1100464...found a core on eBay for $30
that was built about a month before my truck which should be correct. |
