Talking 72 bucket seats vs 73

What are the diffrences in the 73 seat vs the 72 buckets. My brother has some from a 73 and I was wondering if some 72 covers would fit?? They are both low back, but I don't have any 72 buckets to compare them to!

You may have to trim them down a little but they are the same basic seat as the 71-72 except the brackets.

Send a PM to board member Tom Hand. He has '73 seats in his truck, and modified a set of bench seat brackets to make them fit. They look great.

the 73+ trucks have a raised floor under the seat so the brackets are shorter. like stated above you probably can swap brackets somehow

72 buckets are more rounded at the top so the covers may have to be modified to fit the 73 up seats. If you do a side by side comparison, you will be able to see the difference.
