Nice Electric Fans for 72 Trucks

Well, I've finally solved my heating problems with the hotter running 383 stroker. Oldairproducts.com has a unit that's a direct bolt on. Part #50-7230 Dual electric fan assembly for 67-72 Chev's. With delevery, ran me just over 300 bills. I got it on a special. Usually runs more. Much better reaction on the gas pedal, 5-10 more HP, and increased gas mileage. Fairly easy install. The first fan runs on the key. Second fan has two ways of turning on. One is by a pre-set temp, the other---when you turn on your ac unit, it automatically turns on the second fan. I ran this girl like a dog today and never got it hot enough to turn on the second fan. Nice unit. (i need to change the date on my ol camera though-it definately aint feb here)

I have a site for the same fan set up for 279.00 I have been thinking about. I may go with that or the one that Wes sells here.

Re: Nice Electric Fans for 72 Trucks

nice idea...

another fan idea was a newer Jeep unit. Someone bolted it into the fan shroud, added a temp and relay kit from summit... cost about $150 for all the parts if I remember...

There is a thread on here somewhere but I don't have it saved...
