I may be an idiot.....How do you take the knobs off the headlight and wiper switches?? I am trying to detail my dash and have all the screws out and it seems the switch knobs are preventing me from removing the cluster...HELP!!

Re: Knobs????

There's a really small flathead screw holding the wiper knob on. Loosen the screw and it will come right off.

This may not be the proper way, but I've always just pulled the headlight switch knob out....

Re: Knobs????

Headlight knob.....
lay on the floor under the steering wheel, reach up and find the light switch.
On the top (usually) and near the center is a small button.
You will have to turn the lights on (pull the switch all the way outward)...then push the button and pull the knob some more and it will come right out.
Depending on how long you need it removed, you might want to unhook the battery, since your lights are now on.

To re-install, simply push it back into place. No need to reach under again.
