Re: scrape no more.

As far as I have been led to believe they fit our trucks (67-72) with out any modification. I will run a post when I install them.

Glad you went with those, John, I will be putting a set in soon, when my frame shortening is done, it will be nice to see a set installed first.

I was thinking of you the other day and was wondering if you want a boo at these before they get installed. I really think they are worth the money and ECE are great to deal with.

Re: scrape no more.

I purchased the same set of headers from ECE and they are installed. I will post pics shortly. I do have a quick question as I have yet to connect my exhaust to them.

1) Based on the collector attachment, do these headers require an O.D. collector or I.D. collector?

Jegs sells the collector attachments, but they require you to decide between O.D. and I.D.

I would hate to make an assumption, so hopefully this is not too stupid a question.

Thanks in advance

No question is stupid. To be fair at this point all I know is that it is 2.5' at the header collector (this is what ECE's Tech told me.) I would say if your running 2.5' it would be outside. I'll know better when I get the headers in the shop and start working with the pipe. I'll post the results.

How long have you had them. ECE doesn't show a collector reducer and they didn't mention it when I asked them about these headers. I hope mine comes with it.

I called them. my price was 289.00 with shipping and the collectors.

I like 'em, they're pretty. Can't say how they perform yet, as I don't even have a body on the chassis or full exhaust hooked up.

Re: scrape no more.

check out sanderson's website

They are model #cc11 and are listed at $295 (black) with the optional coating for an additional $150.

for once it appears that you get a price break by ordering from the middle man.

Sanderson price (coated) - $445 + shipping
ECE Price - $379 + Shipping

Re: scrape no more.

They arrived today and do they look sweet. These headers are really well made. I have a wheel alignment for Wed. at 8:30 so I'm not going th install till the weekend. The price I thought was pretty good on these, the coating is on the inside and outside.

Re: scrape no more.

Today we start pulling two bad teeth my Hedman Headers making way for the new Sanderson Headers. They are the nicest headers I've seen barring custom building a set.
