What is needed to convert a 1968 Chevy c10 from 2 piece driveshaft to one?

I have a 1968 Chevy C10 shortbed that came with factory 396 and turbo 400 transmission. It has a 2 piece driveshaft is there any way to convert it to a 1 piece driveshaft and would I have to cut anything in order to do it. If I have to cut anything then I will not do it. What will be needed for the conversion and is there anybody who sells a driveshaft that will bolt right in?

my truck has a one piece..didnt have to alter anything on the xmember...think the days of going to a junkyard and finding one the right length are over...but a driveshaft shop can make you one

I used a driveshaft out of a 86 c10 short bed and it worked good until I put in a turbo 400. Then I had to have it shortened. Also, I had to cut off the mount for the carrier bearing when I lowered the truck.

Get a one piece shaft find one or have one made.

Remove the carrier bearing and brace assembly and install your one piece.

Shortened my long bed, went to a one piece. It was around $300, new tubing, yoke and Ujoints.
