can anyone make me one of these tags?

I am trying to get the final details made up for my 67. my truck had one of these in it so i had the bottle restored but now i would like to get the tag but would be impossible to find one. I found this NOS one on ebay that had good pictures so i was wondering if anyone on the board would be able to replicate one for me on the same type of material that it would have been original (unknown to me)? It is double sided and I could get accurate measurements for you. Let me know if this is something you could do for me. Willing to pay $$$ of course. Last pic is of my restored bottle. Rod.

Looks good. Loc Doc made some really nice repro stickers for jack instruction (?) I think ... maybe he could do something like this?

I could give it a shot if you are not in a huge hurry. E-mail me a good photo or scan, and measurements of the original if you want. PM sent with e-mail address.

Re: can anyone make me one of these tags?

Rod,

Here is what I came up with. I printed it on heavy card stock. The first two pictures are low resolution and look distorted. (on purpose) It actually came out pretty nice and the actual tag color is a little darker Red than these pictures. The third picture is half of the full size one. It measures 2 7/8 x 5 1/4 inches. If you want to PM me your mailing address I will send it to you to see what you think. I know I have it but I'm too lazy to sort through my paper work to find it...

Hey Leon, thats great work. I have a tag that I would like you to duplicate too. This one is a bit of work since its double sided....

The problem with those is they are actually printed on a foil background. I guess I could try and run some aluminum foil through the printer...

I am sending a couple of them to chewy67 to have him look them over to make sure they look OK. If that pans out I will put a couple on the parts board. I will let you know when I do that.

Re: can anyone make me one of these tags?

not sure if this is going to be big enough to read but it is the original waranty card that should have been left in the glove box. EDIT. guess not but it was worth a shot though.

I just ordered some foil printer paper so I may try a couple of the foil type decals. No time right now though.
