Wiring questions and stuff..

While redo-ing my instrument cluster, i uncovered some wiring issues behind..

Question 1) What is this "STOP LT. SW. CONN." circled in blue. The wiring connector for the steering controls is missing the wire labeled 'A', and I need to figure out where to run it to. According to this link this is a black and white wire on the other side of the connector and is likely for the horn?

Question 2) Why does this orange wire travel down to the "DOME LP CONN", if it is in fact for the horn? I should add that my dome light does not work. The two wires labeled B are twisted together and not connected to anything or the fuse panel like shown in the diagram. I have feeling if i supply power to at least one that my dome will work, the other pair of orange/white appear to be intact.

The stop light sw conn is the brake light switch. The color in your diagram is wrong it shouldn't be black it should be white (the two correct wires one is orange and the other is white.) The Black wire is the horn switch wire witch leads to the right spade on the horn relay.
The dome light termanal has 2 orange wires that come together and a white. One orange comes from the fuse panel to the dome light connector and the other from the brake light connector. The white goes to the headlight switch. WES

The two wires going into "STOP LT. SW. CONN." (brake light switch connector) are supposed to be 1 orange and 1 white. Orange wire leads into the fuse panel and the white to the turn signal connector. WES

Re: Wiring questions and stuff..

The wire is black because you wouldn't be able to see it on the diagram if it was white.
The horn wire is a black and it is on the other end of the half moon connector.
The orange wires near the fuse panel should be hot all the time so they probably were connected to the orange wire in the fuse panel.

The white wire that goes to the headlight switch is a ground wire to ground the dome light when the knob is turned all the way to the left. Any white wires to the dome light are ground wires. You should have other white wires on the door buttons to turn on the
dome. If you have a white wire on the dome light then you must not have the orange power wire.
