Help reinstalling dash pad - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I know it has clips on the top edge, and they seem to be sliding under the metal dash where they should, but the pad looks to be sitting too low at the window (the edge is nearly level with the weatherstripping).

Maybe it is catching on the air vents or something, I don't know.

I can see the weather strip along the entire dash on mine. That should be normal. Maby it was installed wrong before you removed it.

I've never had a problem with getting it back on. Check to make sure all the clips go in the right places.

how much of the "in-windshield" antenna should show?

I see alot of it on mine...including the white/yellow bottom where the wires attach to the windshield.
