1967-1972 Grilles

what year grilles can be swapped or changed with other years?

we were looking at a 71 c10 but like the 67-70 grilles better. i figure the 67 is 1 year only but will the 68-70 grilles fit the 71 truck. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 1967-1972 Grilles

grilles are 67/68 and 69/70 and 71/72

to change from a 71 grill to a 67/68 grill, you'll need to change out the fenders, rad support, hood latch, hood, and of course the grill

FYI...the fenders for 69-72 will accommodate 69/70 or 71/72 grills

There was a whole 67 clip on Craigslist last night, I think it was in the NW Georgia section. May be close to you. Looked pretty solid, it was a dark blue color. I'll see if I can find it. I think they wanted $500 for the whole clip if I recall?

I believe you'll need to change the grill support and maybe the hood latch(???)

Re: 1967-1972 Grilles

Could we swap out the grill in our '70 C10 for a '68 grill?

Re: 1967-1972 Grilles

You need to swap front bumpers as well the 71-2 trucks have turn signal lamps in the bumpers.

Not easily. In '69 the hood, fenders, and core support changed on Chevys. So you need to swap all that. The hood latch is also related to which year grille you have. 67-70 front bumper are the same on Chevys
