I used to replace the rubber only years a go when I had a shop. Its better to replace the whole assem. as they are not all that expensive. You can spin the brg & see if it is quite. If so you can just replace the rubber.

I just bought one for my C20 from NAPA. It was $43.00. They had a $17.00 one but it looked pretty crappy.

I didn't write the numbers down but he had 3 different ones shipped in and let me choose the one I wanted. One was $17, one was $43, and one was $45. I didn't see any difference between the $43 one and the $45 one. He had to look them up in the catalog instead of on the computer.

The $60 bearing looked better , so I got it . NAPA HB206FF . Came with 17 mm bolts . Probably the only thing metric on my truck . Haven't fully tightened them as the rear tires are off the ground . Anyone know if it really matters ?? THANKS !

Shouldn't matter. The slip joint will take up any slack.
