yeah im not sure what years they came off, but they are 17s. they're ok looking, id much rather put something aftermarket on it but that has to wait for the 5 lug swap.

Re: anybody running any late model wheels? what to see pics

if you look on my build thread on the bottom of the first page they are on the back! the rear you will need spacers, 1"-1.5" sould be fine, i went with the 1.5"! the front you will need shims 1/8-1/4", the center bore is bigger on the drums then on the rims! the spacers on the back are to push the tires and rims out so it dont look funny! if you have 6 lug disc on the front then you don't need the shims, i didnt! i'm guessing you have drums all the way around?? this weekend i'll be working on my truck and i'll put the back spacers on and take some pictures so you'll have a better view of it, and how the fit in the rearwheel wells!!

Ok,i dont know if any of you guys have seen these but we got a new avalanche delivered with these 22" smooth steel wheels that are called gm transit wheels for wait until the ordered 22" wheels get installed at the dealer,i instantly visioned these painted body color with some sort of cap, didnt get a picture in time before they took the wheels back to the gm accessory location but someone on bags needs to get ahold of these. Very cool!!!

Re: anybody running any late model wheels? what to see pics

i called a buddy whos a service manager. He said adi credits them 1200.00 bucks for the wheels. and the upgrade chromes wheels are only 1300.00 or so. But he didn't know if he could let me pay the 1200.00 for the transits, and that adi was real picky on getting them back!

I was just talking to my adi on them and they would get charged back to the dealer 1500 wont sell them otherwise,so at my price would cost 1650 plus tax,but who knows how often i will see them.

Those transit wheels are cool, however it looks like they get scrapped after use.

http://www.vipadi.com/transit_wheel_policy.html

"ADI must scrap all transit wheels. Prior to scrap ADI must take a sledge to the outboard flange, damaging one 3-4” section, bending the flange in toward the center of the wheel."

Re: anybody running any late model wheels? what to see pics

The transit wheels get sent back to the accessory company after we install the wheels the customer ordered to install.they get sent back to install on more new vehicles to get delivered.
