Re: Wooden beds ???

Wooden bed is the coolest part of the truck..It's the last connection to the really old stuff.

Easy to redo with a little patience. There is a million choices of different wood to choose from. And they look awesome.

Re: Wooden beds ???

Ya well I have to admit that was 10 years ago..LOL.

It can use a sanding and refininishing. I am thinking of going with ipe and putting it in unfinished. It is suposed to turn gray as it ages, which might look ok with the color of the truck. The ipe is suposed to be nearly industructable.

You can't. All the stepside beds are wood floor.

So - your only alternative would be to put a fleetside bed on it.

And - as Rich points out - wood bed floors are totally cool!

Re: Wooden beds ???

was that a kit for the wood, or how did you go about that? Do people get nice wood from say home depot or something and have them cut down and such?
